On Sunday, December 14, the children of First Lutheran Church presented the Christmas story to the congregation through the eyes of First Lutheran's resident camel, Jahmaul.
Jahmaul's Story was written by First Lutheran member Jan Womack who also designed and created the camel costume.
Sunday School children and the Children's Choir, under the direction of Jean Nelson, helped to tell the story through song and narration. All ages participated in the program, as additional music was provided by the adult hand bell choir, directed by Judy Neumann, and the following young musicians offered their talents to accompany the children: Liz Peregrine, Kate Metzler and Hillary Taylor, flute; Zack Riel, Brittany Todtz and Nicole Fisher, clarinet; and Jacob Marx, violin. Aaron Russell provided pre-service music on the piano and Karen Sjolund served as the accompanist
